This would be the place where I’m supposed to impart some uniquely funny and attractive verbiage about myself that makes everyone want to read my blog right? To be honest with you, I’m just a 22 year old guy trying to figure out this whole “real world” thing, following the footsteps of Jesus. I graduated from Harding University in May 2007, moved back to Memphis and have since been employed full-time at Obsidian Public Relations. I’m blessed to have been dating an amazing girl for nearly three years and am excited about our future together.

By the grace of God, I’ve been privileged to lead worship most of my life and I’m currently blessed to lead at Highland St. Church of Christ, my home congregation. Aside from the office and planning worship, I enjoy a healthy amount of ESPN and take pleasure in defending the Memphis Tigers as the legitimate No.1 team in the nation. I’m a movie lover by design but dabble in a few excellent TV series such as 24 and Sports Night. My love of music stretches far and wide but recently has parked with Old Crow Medicine Show, OneRepublic and Brad Paisley’s newest. I wasn’t exaggerating on the far and wide…

A few great loves in my life include: baked, crispy macaroni and cheese, singing every RENT song on the soundtrack, dreams of an old muscle car, A Few Good Men, basketball on Thursday nights and passionate encounters with the living God through worship. I cherish my friendships with my guys, family and friends – they are constant blessings in my life.
